Best Student Presentation Awards

We intend to offer the Best Student Presentation Award to the exellent presenter in each section of the five themes in order to encourage students to pursue their research and deliver presentations at high quality. All students participating in the 20th Tri-University International Joint Seminar & Symposium are advised to pay close attention to the following criteria and eligibility before completing their articles and posters for submission. The winners will be given a certificate of award and congratulatory gift at the closing ceremony.

Criteria

The evaluation will be based on the following:

  1. Relevance to one of the themes:
Explain how your research is relevant to the theme which you have chosen. (Themes: Population, Food, Energy, Environment, ESD [Education for Sustainable Development])
  2. Originality:
Show your own idea(s) and/or method(s) in your research.
  3. Logic:
Your presentation must follow a logical order that your audience can understand.
  4. Basic explanation for the audience in various fields:
Keep in mind that the Tri-U IJSS is not an academic meeting of the scholars and students in a single major field. Your presentation must be understandable for the university people in a variety of fields.
